And about a week from now, you’ll be stuffing your face with that stuffing, along with several other varieties of stuff. Then Black Friday arrives, and it’s time to buy more stuff, so that a few weeks later, stockings may also be properly stuffed.

The weather has been downright temperamental, and the course is developing the personality of someone who skipped breakfast. One morning you tee off in sunshine; the next, you’re peeling wet leaves off your ball like a concerned landscaper.

It all reminds me of a certain yoga-loving SEC head coach who still can’t make up his mind.
