The Clubhouse Report: Halloween Weekend Edition

Greetings, Members!

It's finally feeling like fall, my friends. The leaves are turning, the wind is picking up, and this weekend we’ve got the annual extra hour of sleep. I don't know about you, but I'm banking on that extra hour solving most of my emotional and relational issues. New circadian rhythm, new me.

You might have noticed, but this week we celebrated the fall sports equinox, where all four major professional sports (five if you're an MLS defender) overlapped like a perfectly struck 3-wood off the deck. If your game is like mine, that doesn't happen very often—so soak it up.

With Halloween happening this weekend, here's your reminder to have some candy, watch some sports, pour yourself a dark beer, and definitely don’t sweat the extra pound or two settling in around the midsection. For those of you heading to the equator for a family beach trip these holidays, good luck.

CCC Bulletin

Signature Cocktail — The Rain Delay
Mezcal Old Fashioned with maple and orange bitters. Slow-sip while the drizzle taps the window and RedZone hums in the background.

Kids Halloween Event — This Friday
Family putting course with candy checkpoints; juniors get a "spooky" ball marker if they beat par. They also get one if they don't beat par because we bought too many.

Monster Mash Mixer — This Saturday
We’ll have a DJ, open bar, and costume awards. Please keep the costumes appropriate. For example, I’ll be dressed as my favorite historical figure, Chief Tecumseh.
